Replaced By: Interstate Business Loop 83:  Exit 15 to Exit 22 in York
History: Signed in 1959 from Maryland to York to replace the US 111 designation that had moved to newly opened expressway known today as Interstate 83.  In 1960, the route was decommissioned from the state line to Country Club Road but signed to follow the current Interstate Business Loop 83 alignment through York.
