This sign is missing one detail:  Business PA 66 south.  Before the expressway was built, PA 66 headed straight south to Greensburg where the interchange is located.  So just as US 66 was replaced with Interstates, so was PA 66 replaced by an expressway.

Captured this guide sign on PA Turnpike 66 southbound to illustrate how the PTC informs drivers of the amount of toll they will have to pay at exits on the western extensions.  What is odd is that these signs have not their exit numbers converted.

Special "Laurel Highlands" signage has appeared recently denoting directions to attractions and places.  This one is on US 30 east for my alma mater, and summer training camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Latrobe Brewery
Another sign down US 30 approaching the PA 981 intersection denoting the direction to the Latrobe Brewery where Rolling Rock Beer was brewed before July 31, 2006.

New signs for the US 322 interchange north of Port Matilda, which now includes a US 220 shield since the designation has moved off the alignment from here to I-80.

Follow North what?  Auxiliary sign where PA 26 and Interstate 99/US 220 will converge.  The routes covered are the latter.

Harrisburg Mile Markers
Every highway around Harrisburg, and Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, uses these special mile markers with the shield of the highway on them.  I wish PennDOT would install these to every metropolitan area.

Listing of exits on US 422 westbound southwest of New Castle.  The exit numbers listed on the sign are not used at the exits.  It appears that they are holdovers from before the James E. Ross Highway was built.  Why they kept the numbers when the sign was replaced, and why all the tabs on the signs are still blank, only PennDOT knows.

Since the PTC did not extend the use of E-ZPass to trucks and buses on the initial roll-out, these signs were installed at every entrance to the Turnpike.  This one was on PA Turnpike 60 southbound at Exit 33.

Located on the Vanport Bridge.  Shippingport is the home of the first nuclear power plant built in the United States which is still in operation.
Cargo Areas
Sign used to direct traffic to the cargo areas for Pittsburgh International Airport on northbound Business PA 60.  The cargo areas remained where the original airport used to stand, with passenger service moved to the new terminal accessible off of PA 60.  This is the only guide sign I have ever seen that lists the highway you are on, instead of the one you will access at the exit.
