Weird PA 981 installation
This is a typical Canadian installation with the route shield, cardinal direction, and arrow.  So what is it doing on Jefferson Street in Latrobe?  There was another like this on Main Street at Jefferson Street which has been changed to follow the standard cardinal direction and route shield assembly.

PA 56 east and west straight ahead?
Assembly before the US 422 westbound ramp to US 119 north.  It is confusing, but PennDOT is trying to say that to access PA 56 in either direction, you must go straight which will become PA 56 west, and the upcoming ramp for US 119 south will be for PA 56 east.

Westmoreland
Alternate US 220/PA 150
Southbound just south of Interstate 80, with the newest auxiliary US route in Pennsylvania.
Centre 7/6/2003 Doug Kerr
Ugly US 322
I wonder if the construction company that erected the ugly US 30 above are also responsible for this travesty of a shield.  Yet, there is a normal US 322 shield right next to it, and a normal US 220 shield next to that.  Go figure.
US 611?
This sign located on Easton Road approaching the PA 611 intersection in Willow Grove harkens back to 1972 and earlier when PA 611 was US 611.

Chester 5/8/2004 Jeff Kitsko
Ugly US 119
Another one, yeesh!  I thought that the US 30 and US 322 shields were the only series to be marred like this.

Blair 10/16/2004 Doug Kerr

Prior to the PA Turnpike 66 designation, the Amos K. Hutchinson Bypass had these shields marking its route.  This is the only one left after the conversion at the on-ramp from US 30 to southbound PA Turnpike 66.
Westmoreland 10/23/2004 Jeff Kitsko
Just Can't Get It Right
Two shields at the intersection of Bethel Road and Malts Lane in North Huntingdon.  The PA 30 shield is on northbound Bethel Road and the US 30 shield is on southbound Bethel Road.  The erroneous PA 30 seen above was replaced but with the butt-ugly US 30.  However, the other PA 30 still stands directly across the intersection from the US 30 assembly.
